The residence is set within a flourishing mangosteen and rambutan plantation, this single-storey residence is designed on a linear 1-acre site with limited access to the plot's narrow end. Responding to the site's topography and view potential, the residence is elevated 3 meters above ground leaving a multi utility space below and angled strategically to capture uninterrupted views of the surrounding paddy fields and plantation. In a nod to sustainability, the home reuses terracotta tiles from older structures.

Brick n Bloom is a thoughtfully designed residence renovation where terracotta brick takes center stage, harmonizing with both the existing structure and its surrounding environment. In this project, the original truss roof is preserved, showcasing an innovative approach to renovation where minimal disruption is made to the existing structure. The careful integration of the roof with the new design creates a minimal contemporary aesthetic.
